Mark you calendar and expect an enriching experience!
Please read through to the address and map below.
On the day of your workshop, remember to bring:
• JOURNAL or NOTEBOOK and PEN/PENCIL
• Drinking water for yourself
• Yoga mat and/or beach towel to lay upon the floor
• Cushion for floor sitting (a rolled up yoga mat or beach towel could work)
and to wear layers of clothing that allow you to freely move your whole body, on your feet and on the floor, and to keep you warm during stillness and journaling.
Please REFRAIN FROM wearing perfume or cologne.
Arrive EARLY so we can begin together as a group on time!!! Late arrivals disrupt the process for you and others and you may find yourself locked out of the house because we close up for our privacy. It is a private residence and parking is available on the street. You'll find directions below.
Please take some time before the day of your workshop to read the following Workshop Participant Agreements thoroughly in preparation to form the highest potential experience for yourself and the group.
Workshop Participant Agreements:
1. Keep my first attention on myself.
When we place our predominant attention on our own thoughts, feelings and actions, we deepen self-awareness and growth and promote transformative interactions with others. “I will center my focus on my own mind, body and emotions and speak from that experience.”
2. Take the perspective of being the source of my own experience. Even though there are many factors that go into creating what we call our “experience,” creating positive change in our lives requires us to focus upon how we are relating to ourselves and responding to others and events. "I will look to myself as generative of what and how I experience life."
3. Keep confidence, guarding the privacy and honoring the vulnerability of those who share. “I agree that I will not reveal the content of another participant’s sharing without the permission of that participant. I agree to relate to others only in ways that build respect, trust and appreciation."
I'll send an email with all this before the workshop. I so greatly appreciate your taking this quality step and look forward to seeing you on the day!
